Fated Dates Paranormal Gay Werewolf Shifter Romance Fated Date Agency Book 1 edition by Abraham Steele Literature Fiction eBooks

Bryant had always known that Cade was straight. After years of crushing on his best friend, the bookish young omega was ready to move on. Cade would never be interested in him like that. It was time to move on - time for Bryant to get matched by the Fated Date Agency.
The agency's response only showed Bryant how cruel fate could be. His sexy jock friend wasn't just a crush - he was the only one for him. But Cade was still straight. Bryant couldn't let him know that they were fated mates.
And yet... he couldn't let him go.
Fated Dates was previously published in three volumes Omega's Lie, Omega's Struggle, and Omega's Confession. Together, they make up Book 1 of the Fated Date Agency series. This volume stands alone as a complete 175-page gay shifter romance novel with HEA ending and no cliffhangers.

The rating is for all three parts.Omega's lie.
Cade is a player with no clue that his best friend is in love with him. I liked that he's so positive about Bryant. He's sure that he's an Alpha. No second guessing. Bryant's lack of confidence has him painting himself into a very small corner.
Omega's Struggle
Bryant just keeps trying to fix the gigantic spiderweb of lies by creating more of them. He struggles with wanting to give Cade what he wants and his complete assumption that he will never be it. Bryant starts to slowly sever his ties and destroys his own hope of happiness. Bryant pushes Cade away and toward what he assumes will make him happy.
Omega's Confession
Bryant has made a huge mess of his life. His deceptions and lies have come with big consequences. I was disappointed at out weak Cade was. He totally let a woman he only care about as a friend bully him into life altering circumstances over and over again. It made me sad that even when faced with the truth he continued on the path someone else had set out for him. Someone he didn't love, doing something he absolutely didn't believe in. What kind of alpha is that? I have to say that I loved Bryant's mom and his roommate for trying to make things right. The ending with the ex is a bit strange and I could've done without it. I enjoyed the series overall and will be looking for more from this author.

Fated Dates Paranormal Gay Werewolf Shifter Romance Fated Date Agency Book 1 edition by Abraham Steele Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
How many ways can one say "WAY TO MUCH TEENAGER ANGST' ???? I just got so bored after 1/3rd or so of the book that I couldn't work my way through one more scene. So, I just clicked back to my home page for some better reading. And, I found it.
I really hope that this author matures and his next book is not the same scene written 15 different ways. Hopefully, it I encounter this author again that I will read ever review before reading anything else that he writes.
This a book about two shifters in college. They both go to an online dating service. Cade, an Alpha, a straight playboy, and Bryant, an Omega, who is gay and in the closet. They were friends and played together as children. Bryant finds out that his mate is Cade, but Cade thinks his mate "Omega" is a girl as they e-mail each other. Bryant doesn't know what to do. The characters feel rather angsty and the book falls rather rigorously on nearly every stereotype of every rom-com movie with very defined gender roles. Including ***spoiler*** a male pregnancy, which is not the type of book I like, but since it is a spoiler, I can't really blame that it isn't labeled.
I found myself very frustrated by this novel. Having read "Illicit Mates", which I loved, I thought I would have the same response to this one. Sadly, I did not. I felt as though I was being strung along by Abraham Steele, and that these two boys, Cade and Bryant, ought to have been brought together sooner, and a different hurdle provided for them to overcome in their relationship. That they didn't manage to be together until the very last moment, when Cade was about to do something incredibly foolish and self-defeating, was upsetting to me. I understand Bryant's youthful fear that his straight friend wouldn't accept him as his fated mate. But that Cade kept making juvenile mistakes, and that Bryant kept up the irrational deceit, and then refused to trust Cade when he finally figured things out, just seemed to be illogical. Miscommunication can only go so far before it becomes almost a farce, which is what this story ended up bordering precariously on the edge of being. So while it was good in its evocation of the boys' characters, it lost major points in the "reality" department because Steele kept them apart for so long without just cause. I gave this a 3 because it's suspenseful, and sometimes tender and romantic.
WTH? This plot had more holes that a mesh screen! Seriously, I spent the whole book being confused about how it was still holding together at all. It was also repetitive, self absorbed, and the writing had a painfully naive quality to it. I didn't like either of the characters. Being on the receiving end of anal sex was explicitly equated to being a woman. The happy ending was forced and unbelievable. The characters blithely broke the one rule of being a shift the reader was told about (more than once) and it was originally published in three parts, which makes no conceivable sense at all. Thank goodness I had a compilation.
Omegas Lie 5 Stars
Best friend but maybe more
Bryant and Cade have been friends since they were little. Even though there paths have at times diverged from each other. Both have separately decided to write to the Fated Dates service to try and find there fated mate. Only problem is that Bryant didn’t know Cade had written to them and when he tell him about the Omega he’s been writing to Bryant goes white. But Cade doesn’t notice. This is a well written installment that is very entertaining to read.
Omega’s Struggle 5 Stars
So close and yet so far
In this installment Bryant is avoiding Cade more and more. Cade is about to give up on his Omega. Will the two ever get together or are they fated for doom from the start? Cade starts talking about dating this girl he met but still want his Omega. Bryant just want one night to remember. Well written and very entertaining to read.
Omega's Confession 5 Stars
Sometimes the truth does set you free
Life without ones fated mate can be very lonely and depressing. Especially if you believe he’s moved on with his life and forgotten all about you. Will Cade and Bryant ever be friends again or more? Or has Cade forgotten all about his Omega and about to marry a female? Some twists in the last installment to the series. Interesting and well written story that was a tear jerker to read as well as very entertaining.
The rating is for all three parts.
